First good snap using my camera

Last week, I had gone home for pongal with my friend Jeeva. We reached our home town, Mayiladuthurai at 5.35 in the morning. When we got down at the bus stand, my friend bought to my attention a bus which was standing there. I got a pic of it here.

For those who don't know Tamil, the bill on top says, 'Sticking of posters is unlawful, those who do stick will have an imprisonment of one year along with a fine of Rs.5000'. Below that, they have pasted a poster regarding a cricket tournament to be held as part of Pongal celebrations.

This is nothing but utilizing our freedom in the wrong sense…
In India, rules are just set and not followed. Even the court order for cauvery issue is being violated by Karnataka government. Penalties for those who offend rules should be made severe. That’s the only way

Mayil, why don’t you think that some guy would have fixed that ad after paying that fine? Think different man :-)

The rule is a paradox in itself.
If posters are prohibited, then isn't wrong to display that in a poster. I mean to say that posters that say that posters are prohibited are also posters after all. It's like getting a question paper, of which the 1 first question says that all odd numbered questions should not be answered. I'm confused!!@#$@#$!@#$!@#$!@#$!@#$&$%^&^%&Y#%^#%^&*%^&^*&%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care,
